Large Pond Aeration System Installation

This Picture shows the compressor unpacked from the box with the compressor and the manifold separated for shipping, 

To install the manifold, remove the black plastic external air filter.

Thread on the manifold to the (out) port (left side facing the comressor).

Re-install the air filter. (tighten only hand tight)

This picture shows the compressor with the manifold and air filter installed.

The unit is ready for installation to your site for service.

Diffuser Assembly Instructions

 

Diffuser assembly shown assembled the way it is shipped to the customer

Diffuser assembly shown with the flex disc removed from the weight assembly.  The flex disc has been rotated counter-clockwise and removed from the center threaded mounting.

Diffuser assembly shown assembled with the rock installed, and the flex disc reinstalled by turning the disc clockwise onto the center mounting fitting.

 

All Aeration Kits, have hangers included to install the diffusers without the need to go swimming to place them. It also facilitates the placement of the diffuser in the upright position.

The diffuser housing has 3 holes around the side of the assembly that the hanger hooks into. The illustration above shows the hanger installed onto the diffuser assembly

Easy install hanger for air diffusers

Attach hanger to the three holes provided in the assembly

Using a pole or heavy metal ring the assembly can be lowered into the water after your weight is installed

Continue to lower to the bottom
