Large Pond Aeration System Assembly Directions
- The kit includes:
- 1/3 hp Gast compressor
- 4 – Diffuser assemblies, with hanger hangers
- 200 ft of self sinking air-tubing
- all necessary hardware for installation
This picture shows the compressor and manifold as it is
shipped to you.
The manifold is shipped de-attached from the compressor to prevent damage during shipping.
To install the manifold, remove the air filter assembly,
install the manifold by rotating the assembly clockwise
into the port on top of the compressor marked manifold
or the out port stamped on the front of the compressor.
This picture shows the manifold and air filter assembled ready for service.
Position the compressor in a dry ventilated area, install the self-sinking air- tubing using the clamps provided.
Each diffuser has it's own air flow valve to adjust for differences of the depth of water for each diffuser.
The shallow diffusers will bubble much faster than the deeper ones, to adjust for even airflow, slow the air flow to the shallow ones by closing the valve until the deeper diffuser start to flow air, adjust by watching the bubble pattern on the surface, leaving the deep diffuser valve wide open and closing the shallower diffuser
Once you have an even air flow too all diffusers, there should be no need to re-adjust.
